Kia ora, I’m Johnny.

I’m an independent film location scout and location manager based in Tamaki Makaurau / Auckland, New Zealand’s biggest city.

With a background in photography and production, since 2005 I’ve location scouted and managed multi day on-location shoots across NZ.

Looking to expand my learning, I applied for and was accepted to the Elam School of Fine Arts (U.O.A) in 2012, where I completed a 4 year full-time honours degree, majoring in photography and sculpture, graduating in 2015.

This formal training in visual arts combined with on the job experience in film production gives me a point of difference, and a sensitivity to the creative needs of the directors who employ me.
